Accomplishments
Crowden School of Music Alumni, studied privately with the founder, Anne Crowden for 10 years.
Youngest member of the Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra at age 7 in 1991.
First violinist in the San Francisco Youth Symphony Orchestra, one the top youth orchestras in the world, from 1999-2004. Toured and performed various music halls around Austria, Germany, France, Amsterdam, Ireland, Lithuania, and Russia.
Principal second violinist ate age 12 in 1996 of the Oakland Youth Orchestra
Studied and trained exclusively with the world renowned Alexander String Quartet in residence at SFSU.
Yehudi Menuhin Summer music festival participant 2005, 2006 where she received coaching from the Dedalus String Quartet, and Turtle Island String Quartet.
Concertmaster of the San Francisco State University Symphony Orchestra
Associate concertmaster of the Mill Valley Philharmonic for concert season 2009.
First place winner of the Young Artists competition 1994, 1996, 2000.
Junior Bach participant in 1998, 2000, 2002
Youth Scholarship participant in the Mendocino Music Festival in year 2000
Winner of the Annual Bay Area Chinese Talent Search year 2001
Currently teaching violin at the New Mozart School of Music in Palo Alto.
In addition teaching privately at her studio in Emeryville for students in the East Bay ranging from 3 year olds to advanced adults as well as coaching various chamber music groups in San Francisco.
